Gas Prices Drop Just in Time for Holidays

Gas prices in the US have dropped big time over the past couple of months, according to a new report. Commodities experts are calling it a "true price crash" as the price per gallon is down over 10 cents in just the past 3 weeks. The national average is currently $3.38 per gallon.

This is good news for Americans getting ready to spend spend spend for the Christmas/holiday shopping season!

According to industry expert Trilby Lundberg:
"This crash began back when refining problems around the country were being fixed, one after the other, at the same time that our seasonal gasoline demand was shrinking."
Oil prices are expected to drop even more before the end of 2012 and could drop at an even faster pace in 2013 as more and more alternative energy sources come online in North America.

We say: This is really great news for the still-struggling US economy. And even better news for our pickup trucks and gas-guzzling SUVs!
