Useful Black Friday 2012 Shopping Tips

Black Friday is a pretty big deal in the United States, at least in terms of shopping/retail. It's like a special holiday for people who can't stand to have too much cash in their wallets, purses, or bank accounts!

The problem is that it's no longer very easy to get your hands on the best "deals" being offered in those big brick-and-mortar stores. The "consumer competition" levels have skyrocketed in recent years, thanks to more free-flowing information channels (thanks internet!) and a bad economy that seems to turn normal people into deal-searching lunatic zombies.

Here's a great video that outlines some pretty useful tips for finding the best Black Friday deals for the 2012 holiday season:

We say: The 3 best tips mentioned are "research," "be courteous," and "plan ahead"... the best tip not mentioned is bring a flask of your favorite whiskey and a designated driver, it makes the whole experience a lot better.

Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters are HOT!

Looking for the hottest "cheap" gift this holiday season? Then go get yourself some Zhu Zhu pet hamsters! Zhu Zhu mania is sweeping across America and is sure to do the same in many other parts of the world in the very near future. These inexpensive little mechanical toys make the perfect gift. They're cute, interesting, affordable (most sell for under $10 bucks!), and highly collectible. What more could you ask for? The small company that makes them, Cepia, is definitely onto something here. It's been a long time since we've seen a toy get so hot and take over the "buzz-o-sphere" so quickly like the Zhu Zhu pets have done.
