New Google Video Takes a Shot at Slow Internet Service Providers

ISPs in the US are acting pretty "bad" lately, slowing down Americans' internet connections for no good reason. Now some of the big boys of the web world are taking shots at Comcast, Cox, Time Warner Cable Internet, Verizon, and all the other big ISPs.

First Netflix listed the best and worst ISPs a few months ago, now Google has thrown their hat into the ring.

The new Google Video Quality report will let you see which ISPs can handle high-definition YouTube videos and which ones can't. Check out the video below for more:

Gangnam Style Gets More than a Billion Views!

It turns out the "great change" the Mayans predicted for 12/21/12 had nothing to do with the end of the world, at least not in a physical sense. Yesterday, Korean pop star Psy's "Gangnam Style" video hit the one billion views mark on Youtube. It is now the most watched online video in history and some worry the milestone could signal a gigantic (probably downward) shift in the global consciousness.

The fact that such a bizarre video made for such a crazy song has gotten so many views definitely signals something big and probably not-so-great for human beings. The really scary thing is that it took only about 5 months for the video to hit a billion-plus views!

We say: The world is definitely in big, big trouble. We just hope the new "global mind" can eventually move us toward something a little better than this...
