Hawaii is the Happiest Place in America

Hawaii is the happiest place to live in the United States of America, at least according to a large new survey from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index. The Aloha State is at the top of the charts for things like "life evaluation," physical health, and emotional health. Of course, it helps having an almost perfect climate, beautiful beaches, and the world's greatest ecological wonders!

According to the survey, the top 10 best states to live in in America and their average well-being scores (out of 100) are:

* Hawaii: 70.2
* Utah: 68.3
* Montana: 68.3
* Minnesota: 67.8
* Iowa: 67.6
* Vermont: 67.4
* Colorado: 67.3
* Alaska: 67.3
* North Dakota: 67.3
* Kansas: 67.2
