Authorities have recently detected radioactive cesium in tea leaves in several areas near crippled Japanese nuclear power plants. Fortunately, they've begun to ban the teas from being shipped to market. But many people still think Japan's government isn't telling the whole truth about potentially-dangerous radioactive products.
Japan's nuclear crisis -- and the radioactive pollution it has created -- appears to be affecting more and more of the country's most popular products. Other agricultural products -- including spinach and milk -- are showing high levels of the dangerous radiation.
Of course, everyone from Japanese farmers (who stand to lose LOTS of money) to US authorities say we don't need to worry about health problems from all the radioactive stuff shipping out of Japan. Yeah... right!
We say: First we have to worry about radioactive Japanese cars. Then we got the great news that radioactive air has arrived here in Las Vegas. Now we have to worry about whether or not our morning cup of antioxidants is going to give us cancer?? Nuclear power SUCKS!!!
