Google Inc. has unveiled it's highly anticipated Google TV service, which is a blend of television programming and web content and is a major attempt to expand into larger ad markets.Google executives say that special set-top boxes will be needed to use the new service, which is based on the company's Android operating system. The boxes are designed to connect to regular cable and satellite receivers and are controlled by a wireless remote keyboard and/or Android-based mobile phones.
Other companies have attempted to integrate Internet content and TV content in the past but many experts believe that Google TV will be by far the most successful attempt yet!
